Who We Are

Heartbeat Publishing LLC is a small, independent publishing company that takes pride in helping authors bring their books to market. We understand how frustrating it can feel when manuscripts are overlooked or replies are delayed—or never received. Regardless of our decision, we treat every submission with respect and help writers pursue their dream of seeing their work in print.

Our Goal

At Heartbeat Publishing LLC, our mission is to make publishing as accessible and affordable as possible—for both agented and independent authors.

What To Expect

 1. Submission received → Initial review completed in up to three weeks.

2. If selected → Submit full manuscript; allow another three weeks.

3. If accepted → Congratulations email followed by next-step guidance.

4. Contract review/signing → Must be signed within 30 days to proceed.

5. Editing stage → Use our editors or yours, if needed.

6. Cover design → Provide input or artwork; we’ll design it.

7. Publishing → We bring your book to readers!

Note: If a submission is not accepted for publication, we will reach out with an explanation of why we didn’t decide to publish the work. Do not fret if you receive this type of message. Review your work, fix any errors, and try again!

We Do Not Publish Material That Contains:

• Hate speech
• Promotes the abuse or sexual exploitation of children or adults
• Contains pornography
• Glorifies rape or pedophilia
• Advocates terrorism
• Inappropriate or offensive language.

Heartbeat Publishing LLC – Editorial & Publishing Transparency

Heartbeat Publishing LLC operates as a traditional-style, selective publisher. We do not charge authors to publish their books once a manuscript is formally accepted and acquired under contract.

Submission & Acquisition:

All manuscripts are reviewed for quality, alignment, and readiness. Not all submissions are acquired for publication.

In some cases, a manuscript may show strong potential but require additional revision before it is ready for acquisition. Authors are always welcome to revise independently or seek editorial support from any editor of their choosing.

Optional Editorial Guidance (Pre-Acquisition):

Heartbeat Publishing LLC may offer optional editorial guidance prior to acquisition for authors who would like structured support during revision.

• Participation is completely optional

• Authors are not required to use Heartbeat Publishing’s editorial services

• Choosing not to use editorial guidance does not disqualify a manuscript from consideration

• Authors are not required to implement every editorial suggestion

Editorial guidance is offered as a one-time fee and includes:

• Up to three rounds of editorial feedback within a defined scope of revision.

• A defined scope of revision support

• Guidance focused on clarity, pacing, structure, and reader experience

• Editorial guidance is not a guarantee of publication and is separate from the publishing decision.

Authors are always welcome to decline editorial guidance and revise independently before resubmitting their work for consideration.
