Who We Are
Heartbeat Publishing LLC is a small independent publishing company who takes pride in getting our authors published. We understand the struggles of being looked over- not understanding why certain stories weren't selected for publication. Or waiting for a reply, one way or another, that might never come. We respect everyone who takes a chance with us! No matter our decision, we will work hard to help you accomplish your dreams of seeing your work in print!
What To Expect
1. Once a submission has been received, Heartbeat Publishing LLC will get to work reviewing the submission. Please allow three weeks for our team to respond to a submission request.
2. If accepted, you will move into round two of the decision process. We will reach out and ask for the full manuscript. Please give our team three weeks to reply once the manuscript is submitted.
3. If accepted, you will receive an email stating "Congratulations, your work has been accepted!" Then one of our team members will reach out to get you started in the publishing process.
4. Contract: You will be given 30 days to review and sign the contract. If the contract isn't signed in those 30 days we do not move forward with publishing your book.
5. Editing: if we feel your book needs editing we will inform you. You can use our editors or you can find your own editor.
6. Cover Design: Here you can make suggestions on what you want your cover to look like, we can design your cover for you, or you can send in artwork of your cover if you have one of your own.
7. Finally, we will publish your story!

Note: If a submission is not accepted for publication, we will reach out with an explanation of why we didn't decide to publish the work. Do not fret if you receive this type of message. Review your work, fix any errors, and try again!

We don't publish material that contains:
• Hate speech
• Promotes the abuse or sexual exploitation of children or adults
• Contains pornography
• Glorifies rape or pedophilia
• Advocates terrorism
• Inappropriate or offensive language.
